Half leg waxing covers the leg from the knee down, where hair tends to be thickest and most visible. It is the practical everyday option and a quick session that fits neatly between other appointments.
Why LYCON wax
Low-temperature LYCON wax adheres to the hair rather than the skin: it removes from the root with less pull and leaves far less redness than conventional waxes, even on reactive skin. We prepare the area with a protective oil and calm it at the end.
Aftercare and frequency
Avoid direct sun, swimming pools and sauna for 24 hours. Exfoliate gently twice a week from day three and moisturise daily to prevent ingrown hairs. On a four-week rhythm, hair grows back finer and sparser.

How long does the session take?+
A Half Legs session takes around 25 minutes. We recommend allowing a little extra time for the initial consultation and personalised skin advice.
Which part of the leg does it cover?+
Knee to ankle, with the knee included, and toes if you'd like them. It's the usual choice in winter or when the visible hair is only on the lower leg — you can switch to a full leg later without any issue.
Can I alternate half leg and full leg?+
Yes, though it's worth keeping a regular rhythm on the area you do wax: at four-week intervals the hair syncs up and regrows finer. Alternating without a rhythm means each session starts almost from scratch.
Does it help with ingrown hairs on the shins?+
Yes, particularly if you swap the razor for wax — cutting hair straight across is what encourages it to grow back in. With gentle exfoliation from day three and daily moisturising, it usually clears within two or three cycles.
