How long does the session take?+
A LYCON Brazilian Wax session takes around 35 minutes. We recommend allowing a little extra time for the initial consultation and personalised skin advice.
What does a Brazilian leave compared with a Hollywood?+
A Brazilian removes the hair from the whole intimate area but leaves a strip or triangle at the front; a Hollywood leaves nothing. The back is included in either if you want it — we agree it at the start and you can change your mind as we go.
Are small bumps in the days afterwards normal?+
Mild folliculitis in the first 24-48 hours is common, especially the first time. Preventing it means no gym, pool, sea, sauna, tight clothes or sex during that window, and gentle exfoliation from day three. If it happens every time, tell us and we'll use a specific pre- and post-wax protocol.
How often should I repeat it?+
Every four weeks is ideal. On that rhythm the hair across the whole area syncs into one cycle, regrows finer, and each appointment gets quicker and more comfortable than the last.
