Frequently asked questions
How long does the session take?+
A BIOREPEEL CL3 session takes around 60 minutes. We recommend allowing a little extra time for the initial consultation and personalised skin advice.
Will my face peel, and for how many days?+
It depends on the depth. With the superficial protocols we use most often, skin can feel tight and flake lightly between day two and day five — easily masked with moisturiser. We choose the strength around your skin and your diary: if you have an event, we plan the peel at least a week ahead.
What time of year can I have it, and what about sun?+
It can be done year-round, but it requires daily SPF 50 and no direct exposure for at least two weeks, so in summer we lower the strength or switch the active. Without that protection the real risk is not the peel itself but the pigmentation that can follow.
What should I avoid before and after?+
For five days beforehand: no retinol, no exfoliating acids, no waxing or laser hair removal on the area. Afterwards: gentle cleansing, moisturiser, sun protection, and no actives until the skin has finished its cycle. Never pull at flaking skin. We go through all of it with you in the session.
